The company has about 10 employees and occupies a building of over 10,000 square feet, including offices and a repair shop equipped with a bridge crane, which can be accessed through large garage doors. The workshop has one of the most powerful test benches in the Québec City region. Magnéto Québec has the capacity to manufacture and repair large cylinders. The Company also has a large inventory of hydraulic components and lubrication system parts.
Magnéto Québec serves the pulp and paper, saw timber and plastic industries, as well as forestry equipment operators, aluminum smelters, and the Merchant Marine. The Company provides on-site services and has mobile shops to answer service calls. Thanks to the expertise in lubrication and hydraulic filtration techniques it developed with several major industries in the Greater Québec City area, its clients were able to improve the quality of their hydraulic and lubrication oils, and thus reduce their operating costs. Yves Jacques, general manager, has over 20 years of experience in designing hydraulic systems, hydraulic filtration, lubrication filtration, and hydrostatic transmissions. He developed with his employees and partners the concept of on-site service centres for his client base.
