Magnéto has installed an automated system with analogue controls and PLC which facilitates operating a crane equipped with a percussion planting machine. This system allows the operator to better position himself around the crane to see the work to be done. A display shows the machine data in real time. The operator can then set the number of strokes and adjust the speed, intensity and interval between each stroke. The system logs operating hours, pressures, hammer movements and the number of cycles and allows daily reports to be extracted.
